The 12th meeting of the technical working groups on Verification of Environmental Technologies (ETV) promoted by the European Commission is being held in Brussels on 14 and 15 March.

The technical working groups are divided into different technological areas and sub-areas, and are composed of a number of experts with different degrees of experience and knowledge. Its role is to contribute to harmonize the implementation of ETV procedures through the verification bodies in the different areas of technology and in the different participating countries.

Among the technological areas in which the European Commission works to certify environmental technologies through the ETV program, the energy, water, new materials and waste management sectors stand out.

Throughout the morning today, the ETV4INNOVATION project has been presented, of which CETEM is a part, and whose objective is to develop an online training material in order to increase the knowledge of companies on ETV.
