The FreeFOAM project celebrates its fifth consortium meeting in London

This European project seeks to open a new methodology for the manufacture of flexible polyurethane foams.

Last week it was held the fifth meeting of the European project consortium FreeFOAM in the Furniture Makers Hall in London, which seeks to reduce health risk of workers during foam manufacturing by lowering the concentration of free isocyanate and reducing the emission of the same to the atmosphere.

The FreeFOAM project began in May 2013 with an expected duration of three years. The project is funded by the Seventh Framework Programme of the European Union and has partners from France, United Kingdom, Slovenia, Israel, Slovakia and Spain.
